Me
Things are going well with me today. I was able to figure something out at work today in SQL Server 2005 that has been plaguing me for some time. I’m very excited about that, so excited I may create a blog dedicated to SQL Server just to share what I have found. I figured I wouldn’t post it here, because I don’t want to bore you all to tears. Also, my favorite hockey team, the Pittsburgh Penguins came back from a 4-1 deficit in the third period last night against the Ottawa Senators and won the game in a shoot out. Sweet!
Writing
Anyhow, I came across a few writing links that I though you all might enjoy. The first is a pretty funny post on How To Be a Writer in Ten Easy Steps. The second link is Ira Glass:Tips on Storytelling. There is some really nice information there. Check it out.

I am so glad I escaped my year in SQL Server. We were on 2000, though…I’m sure it’s like totally better now. If I never see a DTS package again, it will be WAY to soon.
Mike, I’m with you. DTS packages in SQL Server 2000 were the devil, especially if you tried to edit one you had previously created. SQL Server 2005 is much improved in this regard.
