As you can tell, I’m experimenting with a new theme. I’m not sure if I like it yet. I like the new header, but I’m not sure about the rest of the layout. I think I’ll keep it this way for a bit. Let me know if you have any strong feelings either way. Thanks to those who have already left comments.
Update
Kaitlyn made a good point in the comments that the font of the header doesn’t really match the words “struggling writer”. Thoughts?

The font says you may be struggling, but you’re optimistic about it.
The font suggests Harry Potter. I like it. But that’s up to you whether you keep it or not.
I’m starting to like it paperback writer. I like this header because I created it, which gives the site a little bit of a personal touch. The only thing I wish I could change would be I would center the content on the page. I don’t have that kind of control, though.
there’s a sense of magic and optimism around the fonts of the header. I like the yellowish glow that comes through here and there.
The concept of ’struggling’..does not really match the header, but this is your personal choice, we should take it as it is.
The header doesn’t really seem to fit the page. I do like it, but there’s something about it…
Maybe it’s just too much colour for my bland tastes. I think it would work better if it was monotone, maybe with a burst of colour here and there. Keep the stars orange or something.
Just my opinion, though.
I agree with Relliot, I like the juxtaposition of the word “struggling” with the bright and sparky font. I suppose it sums up how I feel most of the time. I may be an old misery guts but I’ll never give up!
I like this new look, it reminds me of Science Fiction.
I like it too. You’re struggling, but your cheerful doing it. That does sum you up quite well, I think.
You should just switch over to hosting your own blog and then you can center anything you want
For the record, I like it, but you might want to consider having the color fade to dark more aggressively so that the edges match the background of the header. That might help tone down the color a bit, too.
