Helen-she really did look cute in the toga. I don't think we got pictures. We did get some of her in the raincoat, though. I'll post one if I'm allowed.

I haven't been to Pitt since I had to drive my sister home from CMU. I always thought it was a beautiful city for such a not beautiful name. The museums sounds wonderful. I love interactive displays like that which allow children to enjoy themselves.

Diane - that's funny! I guess kids + water = fun, just like at least here, adults + fireworks = fun.

Taffiny - It was a fun day. That's funny about your son and the hose.

Michelle - thanks!

Sounds like a great day (and a good NaNo break).

My son is 11 and the water thing, still holds. I can't believe how long, he will hold that hose, and just shoot water up into the air, and down the drive-way, and make boggy areas, and puddles.

Sounds like you all had a ball! What is it about kids and water? I remember some friends staying with us one Christmas and between us we had 4 kids aged 8 to 14.

The day after Christmas, we were going out to a pub for lunch , and as we were early, we went for a walk on the beach. Within minutes all the kids were in the sea, soaking wet from the waist down and we had to wrap them in blankets and change my friends' kids (the older two!) into their pyjamas before we could go and eat lunch. We did get some strange looks...and it was absolutely freezing too :)
