I know it doesn’t seem like it, but sometimes in life the good guys really do win. In this case, I’m referring to the release of reporters Laura Ling & Euna Lee after Bill Clinton’s visit to North Korea.
Now I know that is oversimplifying things, us-vs-them, good-vs-evil. But you know what I mean. It seems sometimes, that the innocent lose, the smart are ridiculed, and diplomacy is trumped by the drums of war. Not this time, though.
I go back and forth on Bill Clinton. I thought he was a decent President, although some of his trade policies haven’t helped us. I was mad at him during the primaries. Now, after this, I have to admit I like the guy a little bit, again.

It’s nice to know that sometimes the good guys do win. And I have to admit, I have a new respect for Bill Clinton. Thanks for sharing!

Bill is at least as flawed as anyone else, but no one can deny this was a major win. I didn’t think it was going to end well for them. whew.
