Boing Boing posted this wonderful lecture by the late Douglas Adams. I just had to share it because one, he wrote Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, two because I love smart people, and three because he was a procrastinator much like myself. For example, he said this regarding deadlines:
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

He was just great. Truly a shame he passed away so young.
Have to admit I cringed somewhat when the towel question was asked. He must’ve been so sick of HHGTTG references at that point, especially off-topic references to it while giving a talk on endangered species…
I haven’t watched that far yet, but the towel reference would make me cringe too.

I watched the entire thing Diane. It was very much worth it.
