I continue to lag in the progress I am making on my novel. As any Struggling Writer, I can offer a number of excuses. Family this, house that, lack of time, blah blah blah. At some point I need to just sit on my butt somewhere, and write!
Still, I have not been totally unproductive. I have been jotting notes in my pocket Moleskine. I was thinking about the protagonist of my story and realized that he needed some type of weakness. After all, who wants to read a story about a hero who cannot be harmed. Even Superman had his Kryptonite. I thought of a pretty funny weakness for my character and am excited to write about it.
I will add a counter to the site once I have a word count worth mentioning. Hopefully, that will help me be more accountable to myself.
