Very Short Stories – Wired.com

I saw an interesting article on Wired today dealing with very short stories. The premise was that Hemmingway wrote a story in just six words and said it was his best work. So, they asked several writers to come up with their own very short stories. I particularly like this one by Joss Whedon, though I would like to read the rest of the story:

Gown Removed Carelessly. Head, less so.
Joss Whedon

This one was pretty good too:

TIME MACHINE REACHES FUTURE!!! … nobody there …
– Harry Harrison

Anyone brave enough can post their “very short story” in the comments of this post.

****Update ****
Ok, here is my “very short story”:

The cold river flowed. I sank.
