Like that post title? It’s a mix between Monday and Mundane. Pretty funny, huh? OK, not really, but I couldn’t think of anything else.

Thanks for all of your feedback on writing advice. I’ll compile all of you answers and post them when I get the chance, though a lot of them were variations on the theme of “just write!”.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I did absolutely no writing but I did a lot of living. My daughter is walking around like crazy now to the point my wife and I think we need to buy her a helmet. Seriously, she banged her head about four times this weekend, the worst offender being our dining room table that just happens to be forehead level. To her credit, my daughter was far less concerned with the bumps on her head than we were.

Also, she debuted three new words yesterday. They were “cat”, “apple sauce”, and “Pep” (part of the name of my parent’s cat). Actually I’m pretty sure she said something else, but I can’t remember what it was. Oh well.

We went to a barbecue on Saturday and all had a nice time. My daughter insisted on picking up the dog’s ball and walking around with it. I wasn’t really happy with her holding it, but eventually I relented. In fact, I would throw it across the lawn and my daughter would toddle over to it. Yes, I was playing fetch with my child. She also really liked playing with the badminton racquets, brandishing them like nun-chucks.

Yeah, so I’m a little tired and sore this morning from all the walking and laughing. I’ll try to whip up a more writing related post later.
