Improvement is Good

I’m happy to say my Sunday night hockey game went much better than the Saturday morning game.  If Saturday’s game was “It was a dark and stormy night” then Sunday’s game was “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.”  The game was well played by both teams, much more up-tempo than Saturday and I felt much better on the ice (didn’t feel sick).  The other team even had a goalie!

I don’t feel too sore today other than my hands.  That will probably change tomorrow.  The interesting thing was that after this strenuous exercise I felt a jolt of energy which translated to my feelings about my writing.  If it wasn’t 11:30 PM when I got home from the game, I probably would’ve done some writing.  I knew I had wake up for work at 6:30, so I went to sleep instead.

I have much to write about this week on Ye Olde Blog, so make sure to stop by often.  I think you’ll enjoy it.

  1. It is interesting how a completely different type of exercise, no matter how tireseom that might be, acts as a distraction, and inspires us. Still I think it was a wise decision to choose sleeping instead 🙂

  2. Ah, this is brilliant news. It’s wonderful to have something at your disposal that gives you that buza, energises, inspires and also makes you sleep well.

I’m the same with kung fu. Sometimes the adrenaline rush can last two days.

(PS: Have blogrolled you – you’ve been one of my internet bookmarks for ages but I figured I should share!)
