Monty Python – Argument Clinic

I mentioned a week or so ago that I got Michael Palin’s book, Diaries 1969-1979: The Python Years, for Christmas. Here’s a Monty Python sketch I saw somewhere on the Internet the other day, featuring Michael. It made me laugh. Enjoy!

  1. I don’t understand every line, but I found it hilarious.
One of my favourite part is when the main character (wrongly) enters ‘Abuse’ and when it is found out, the man in the room apologies.

It is a brilliant parody of those who supress their natural behaviour.

  2. Python one of my remedies when feeling blue. Great stuff.

And, as someone who went to university in Yorkshire, I completely agree with Diane: the Four Yorkshire Men sketch is comedy platinum.

  3. This is one of my favorite skits of Monty Python! SEcond only to the Spam skit which I shall have to find and post on my blog. Thanks for reminding me!!!

They were the best. Simply the best.
