There are times when it is appropriate to call on things that make you happy in order to get you in the right frame of mind. One is one’s birthday. Another is Game One of the Stanley Cup Finals, featuring one’s favorite hockey team the Pittsburgh Penguins. Now is such a time, in which both occur on Saturday.
Few things in this world make me smile more than the movie, The Goonies. That was one of my favorite movies growing up. I wanted to go on an adventure like they did in the movie SO MUCH.
Here’s the Cyndi Lauper video for Goonies ‘R’ Good Enough from the 1985. This is the extended version. It is so good. I mean, cmon, it features The Goonies, Cyndi Lauper, and a bunch of the WWF Superstars from the day including Captain Lou Albano, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and others.
That brings back memories. Even better is the video Empire posted a few weeks ago of the Goonies reunion. Goosebump city.
