Excuses, Excuses

I haven’t had any time to write lately, mostly because of three things:

1. My son’s baptism, and subsequent party we had at our house – it was a fun time and was great to see everybody, but we had to do the whole clean the house and do the yardwork thing to make it look like we’re neat and tidy people (my wife is neat and tidy, but my daughter and I are not so much)
2. The son deciding he doesn’t want to sleep much anymore – he was up until 10:00 last night. The only way I was able to get him to sleep was to sing the ABCs to him. Actually I think he was just pretending to sleep so I would stop singing.
3. The Penguins Stanley Cup Win – what an amazing moment. Here is a video from yesterday’s parade in Pittsburgh. I would say I would have wanted to be there, but I would not have wanted to fight traffic in the city to be there.

Finally, here’s a really done web show titled Yinz Luv ‘Da Guins! If anything, check out the really cool intro animations about a minute and a half in as well as the video at the end (around the 8:30 mark) of the Pens fans celebrating in a bar in New York. Awesome!

Anyhow, I hope to be able to do some writing tonight. Not holding my breath, though.
