For those of you who don’t follow me on twitter, I just though I’d post this excellent link on writing I found via Terri Windling’s blog. The article is titled On Becoming a Writer. The author has won a Pulitzer Prize. If you have struggled writing, give this a read, because you will see what struggling really is. There’s some perseverance there, too.

Oy. The the vey! TEN YEARS?! My first thought was how did that guy pay the bills if he spent five solid years trying to salvage that novel and then put it away and then came back to it?
How did he pay for school? Yes, I’m a detail person and I like to know how other things were taken care of while the main issue was going on.
Anyway, it is interesting to hear about his massive bout with writer’s block. Scary, but very interesting.
