Jason over at The Clarity Of Night is hosting another writing contest. In the mix is a boatload of prizes, including a $50 amazon gift card. All you have to do is look at the given photograph and write 250 words (and win, of course). I’ve entered several of his contests in the past and they are always a lot of fun. Here is the contest announcement and here is a description from the announcement:
Here’s how the contest works. Using the photograph for inspiration, compose a short fiction (or poetry) piece of no more than 250 words in any genre or style.
Click over there for more information. I’ll post my entry here once I’ve written it.
i will be glad to check out for your entry! good luck and wish me luck, too 😉
but as far as I know, according to the rules, you can’t post your entry here (or anywhere else, for that matter) before Jason puts it up on his site.
Good luck to you!
I always wait until he posts the entry first before posting it here. However, I don’t think he has any hard and fast rules against it.
