This is R5-D4, and more specifically the action figure of R5-D4 from back in the initial run of toys in the early 80s. I never had him as a kid, but picked him up pretty cheap on eBay. He sits here on my desk at work and motivates me, even though he had a bad motivator in the movie (pun intended and telegraphed).
Don’t get me wrong. R2-D2 is a great droid, but I’m partial to red. And also, he was actually a Jedi.

Except for perhaps the part where he dies. 😦
