This is for Loren Eaton’s annual Advent Ghosts.
What scares Father Christmas?
What scares Father Christmas?
Death?
Disease?
Famine?
That other one nobody seems to remember? What is it? Taxes?
No.
A bump in the night.
A house with no chimney.
A floor covered in those tiny plastic building blocks, near-invisible to the eye of a thousand year old man?
Not at all.
Too many cookies?
Not enough cookies?
Lactose free?
Gluten free?
Soy?
Not even close.
Taco Tuesday in the Elf cantina, and the ensuing chaotic aftermath.
Taco Tuesday, my dear friends, is what keeps that jolly old elf Kriss Kringle, Papa Noel, good old Saint Nick, awake at night.
Taco Tuesday would terrify me, too. THINK OF THE BATHROOMS.
LoL Given the number of elves at the North Pole, I totally understand Santa’s fear! π
As long as the Taco gang doesn’t come morning to Wednesday’s Waffles. It’s a neat setup you have in the beginning – almost reads like a creepy game show.
Shhhh. That’s next year’s entry π
Taco doesn’t ring a bell with me; but then I live in the UK.
Just imagine a food that causes certain digestive issues. Then imagine many tiny magical creatures ingesting this food in the same timeframe. Now imagine the toilets. Scary, no? π
A new twist on Santa. Loved it!
I had to look up what a Taco Tuesday is, given it’s not a commercial fast food Down Under, and I dig it now! Taco Tuesday – scary for both Santa and the denizens of the Lego multiverse.
I really missed reading your stories, Paul. Love this one! LOL
Thanks Vesper! I know I need to write more.
Hilarious, Paul. Loved it.
Thanks Sarah! π
Ha! Funny, this one. Good work!
