I might not be around much today. We’ll see. In the meantime, the Running Wind writing contest at The Clarity of Night is now closed. Winners will be announced on Monday. This is the time when I convince myself I’m going to surely win, only to have my dreams squashed 🙂 Such is the life of a writer 🙂 I’ve already determined how I’ll spend the prize. I’m so silly 🙂
Dude,
You are so NOT going to win this contest. Your story sucked!!! There were AT LEAST 38 other stories that rocked harder than yours. Compared to them, your drivel was the biggest load of hooey imaginable! Don’t get your hopes up . . .

The great thing about Jason’s contest is the number of prizes. He really tries to anoint as many winners as possible.
And yes, I think you have a good chance of placing. 🙂
tysdaddy – 🙂
Sarah – Thanks!
I had some visitors in town all week and didn’t get a chance to do any writing, so I unfortunately didn’t make the deadline this time.
But I love yours – such a great take on the photo. Very creative and well executed, and the dialogue was perfect. I really liked your previous entries as well, but you can definitely see how your writing has progressed over the last year. Well done!
Sorry you didn’t get to enter Rob. Thanks so much for the compliments, though. You’ve been one of my loyal readers and I really appreciate that!
